Hi, I am new to Adium, and was wondering what the different Adium scripts do.
(edit, insert script)
specificly, the "systom build" catagorie, what do"
"my status message" and "uptime" do?

I am a tad bit confuzed.

Firstly, this is the wrong forum.

OK, so the "my status message" script returns your status message. For example, if your status message is "available" it'll return "available."

"Uptime" will return some system stats, including the time your system has been on and not shutdown.

if ur ever confused about what exastly a sript does just do like me, find a friend thats away or doesnt mind if u annoy him and start sending him all the scripts, its funny when they have no clue what your doing

dear me, maybe I shall have to revert to being sweat and innocent, and only annoy people on occasion.
oh, but some of the Xtras scripts are really fun!
SO much better than AOL IM. but then... *smiles* anything open source would be.

Not always… a project that just started isn't too good.

eh, yesh, this is true.
only, well, I am sure you don't need an argument describing how many open projects are so much more fun, interesting, and....er...better than their commercial counterparts. even if they are not as smooth, the mentality is different....

but I digress...

You can always test a script by sending messages to yourself.
