change password
How in the heck do you change your AIM password? I had to download the AIM client on windows and do it there, which it just brought me to a url to change the password. I dont have access to that PC anymore, so I do not know that url any longer.
It appears as if AIM only supports it inside their apps.
We (Adium) do not have that support yet but it is a good request
Solution: download AIM for Mac, use it to change password, change in Adium and voila!

According to AOL:
Macintosh: Select the Edit menu, and then select Account Options -> Password.

thats the problem, the edit menu does not have anything like that in it, It is just not possible in OS X as far as I can tell.
What would be really cool and simple, is if the adium guys simply maintain a url on their server, when in adium you click on cahnge password, it looks up that url from the adium server, and in this case, as long as that url works, it would take you here:
https://aim.aol.com/password/change_pas ... o&ccode=us
Then Adium now has password changing in it, this is also how the windows version offers this functionalty as well.
The link you provided, ScottHaneda, is correct, but your statement that it can't be changed in the OS X AIM client isn't. AOL's instructions that bgannin gave probably refer to the OS 9 version of AIM. In OS X, just follow DigitalFlame's instructions (AIM menu, My Account Settings, "Sign On" tab).
