Status icons are all the same!!!!

The status icons for idle, away, busy, be right back etc. are all the same, no matter what icons set I use ... This goes for the icons next to my contacts as well as for the dock icon. There is one icon for online, one for offline and one for all the others ... In the dock the "Away" icon is used for the latter. I am using Leopard, Adium 1.1.4 and a MSN account. I also tried the new Adium beta but that did not solve my problem.
What am I doing wrong??
