Trouble with messages

Alright so, I might as well start this off saying I have two sns on AIM, one for friends and one for family. However, I do have a few contacts that fall under both, so they are on both sns. However, if I open a message for Friend A under SN 1, the I go to send the same person a message under SN 2, instead of opening a new window, it merges the two conversations into the one window. It gets confusing when we're talking about two different things.

I can try and phrase that better if it's confusing

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

It's not a bug - it's by design. Adium treats you a single person and treats any contact of yours that it can -- based on having the same screen name, being grouped together by you manually via drag & drop, or being grouped together by your Address Book -- as a single person.
