Some "aliases" refuse to stay across restarts of A

Seeing the issue as well... does trashing the prefs and reconfiguring resolve it? I really don't want to go through that if not

Happened across 1.23 and 1.24, and it's for me at least...
Happening on MSN, MetaContacts (aim and gtalk), only with those people in my address book. For any screename only people alias' hold fine... and for any in the addy book, they don't.. which makes me think... I restored my addy book from a backup on this reinstall (when the issue presented) to the couple of others in here with the issue, you haven't done addy book restores by chance have you?

Gunna try a few things, will check back if any work.
