Buddy list synchronization issue

Every time I log onto Adium X, I get this message:
"Buddy list synchronization issue in username@passport.com (MSN)
username@passport.com on the local list is inside the group individuals, but not on the server list. Do you want this buddy to be added?"
Obviously, the first "username" is me and the other is my buddy. I get this every time I log on and always have to click "yes" to get it to go away.
What's causing this and is there a way to stop or correct it?
