I can't find a way to delete or edit existing custom away messages (AIM on Adium X).

My dropdown menu is going to spill off the screen soon.

Any idea how to delete or edit?

There's a status tab in the Adium Preferences where you can edit and delete the statuses.

Which you can also reach through "Edit Status Menu" at the bottom of the status menu where you see all the statuses.
