I just purchased a new MacBook (black) with 1 GB memory and Mac OS X Leopard. I installed Adium and simply love it...however... I have some performance issues with the chat window. Here is a couple of issues that are driving me crazy:
1) When I resize the chat-window it does not have smooth animation like all other windows (including other windows belonging to adium itself like the contact list). Instead it stutters and lags behind when I drag the cursor.
2) When the chat window is active/visible on a space the animation when changing spaces are lagging and stuttering. I can have 10 other windows open without any trouble, but the moment I open the Adium chat window it starts lagging...even if there are no other windows visible on any spaces. Furthermore, if another window is covering the chat window the problem is NOT there.
I was thinking it maybe was my low amount of memory, but at any point I have 2-300 MB free physical memory. Please help me out here!
