I searched existing threads and didn't notice this addressed already...

If I can see the pencil icon when someone else is typing, does that automatically mean they can see when I am typing (assuming I have the preference set to display)?

And if I cannot see that icon when someone else is typing, can I draw any conclusions about whether or not they can see when I am typing?
