1.2.2 can't initiate chat with contacts

Adium prompted me about the new version 1.2.2 and I downloaded it, since then when I want to chat to my contacts double clicking their names does not make the chat window pop up anymore. I can't do anything to initiate chat.
Does anyone else have this problem? Help please.

I had this problem. Somehow 1.2.2 broke some of the message styles...guess we'll have to wait for a fix.

I just downgraded... i hate using iChat and this seems to be the only way

This is fixed for 1.2.3, for the time being, use a different message style or 1.2.1.
