Adium and ADSL modem

Hi all.
I've got a problem. I'm connected trough the DSL modem, Huawei MT882, which also acts as a router. When everything is OK, LED on router is shining orange, when he is trying to connect to the ISP he shines green.

Trouble is, that the moment I connect to some of my accounts the router starts shining both LED (the color is mixture of green and orange). Naturally I loose my internet connection, I have to close Adium and restart modem/router to get back online.

Yes, I have installed the latest version, nad it's running on Leo 10.5.0 (not updated).

Is there a cure?

That sounds like a Huawei bug to me.

Looks like.
I've installed the Proteus and the same problem occurs. Same thing with Pidgin on my XP.

Any how: can any body can give me a clue WHERE to look for a solution of this pain-in-teh-arse problem?
