Well in my profile I have things that have words bolded, italicized, and underlined.
For a while [about 3 months now] I can only see things underlined.
Today I checked it and I could see that thing were italicized, but I couldn't before.
I ask my friends if they can see the stuff that should be bolded and everything, and they say they can see it perfectly fine. Why is this not being viewable by me?
It even happens when I am in a chat. If someone sends me a message in bold text, I won't know it's bold. And if I send them something in bold text they will recieve it as bold, but it doesn't show that it was bolded in the chat box thing.
I have been waiting to post this on the forums because I was thinking that it was a bug and it would get fixed in further updates. Well my Adium has went through two updates since the first time I couldn't see anything [bold or italicized text] and I still can't see them.
I can see italicized text, but today is the first day I can...so I have no idea if it's "luck" that I can see it...or something's finally happening.
When I first got Adium [last year in 2007] I could view everything perfectly, no problems whatsoever. I have no rememberance of touching any setting, or something happening. So why does bold text not show up for me?
P.S. When I type my profile I can see the types of text I am using, but when I hit Info for a buddy I don't see it. The text is there, just not the way it's supposed to be.
P.S.S. The only logical thing I can think of that might've "disabled" this was when I installed Leopard in late November/December.
