Hello all.

Firstly, I'd like to say I've not had my Mac that long and so I'm still in that transfer phase from XP! I've tried a number of messenger clients, includng MSN for Mac, but I must admit that Adium is by far the best one I've seen running on Mac.

Anyway - recently I've noticed a problem. Please forgive me if it's a known bug for this release.

The problem is that for some reason I can't send files to some users, yet I can send them to others. All of which are MSN users. Aside from one, who does use Adium, and he still couldn't "see" the file I was trying to send.

Any ideas?

File transfer is suspicious at best - but that's dealt with by the libgaim boys and girls, not Adium.

Please, search the forum using the button at the top. There are many, many threads about file transfer.

try opening up your router and your ports for msn. i have no problems with file transfer.
