Currently each time you close the chat window Adium will roll over the current chat transcript log and create a new one when the conversation is subsequently resumed. Asking for "smarter" behaviour that determines if a new log file should be created is too much to ask for, but is it possible to have a small merge log tool in the transcript viewer?
It does not have to be fancy, simply have the ability for the user to multiple select multiple log files in the viewer, right click on them, and select a "merge files" option to combine them into one file.
It is something that can be done manually but integrated into the log file viewer just makes it so much easier, plus it does not eat up much UI space as well
What do you guys think?
