Message window doesn't show screen name

In the message windows, my own screen name is displayed. but for my buddy, the id is showed instead. It's 0.8b6, but it was the same in 0.77. I am using MSN. Haven't tried other services though. I tried different message window style, all the same.
Not a serious issue, not sure if I missed something. thanks.

In the screenshot, you can see that the contact actually has a screen name (Junfeng) but in the message window, their MSN email is displayed instead. Or did I get it wrong?

You've chosen to display contacts' display names as their status. If you want to use the display name as the display name, uncheck that option.
