Encryption is ALWAYS on during Direct Connet

I've had this weird problem with Adium and AIM for some time now. Basically, whenever someone direct connects with me to send me a picture or some such (usually other people not using Adium), it turns encryption on and they start seeing gibberish until I close out the session and open a new one. I can see what they type just fine. It doesn't seem to respect any of the options.

Please try the current debug build of Adium (http://adiumx.com/faq/CurrentAdiumDebug) and post the debug log of a Direct IM being initiated and 'gibberish' subsequently being seen by the other side when you send messages.
