I have several icons, not sure where I got them from now, but I could send them to you if you really wanted. Just look on icon sites for good icons.

and why is the kanji for "snow" chilling up there in your menubar? is it some kind of weather notifier that outputs japanese? that'd be nifty.

I'm just using a flat contact list where all the names are black for absolutely everything, in a simple font with the background to the list as white.

I hacked the status icons from the old versions of Adium (because the jewels aren't pretty in my opinion)

Also, the kanji for 'snow' is actually my System Menu Icon for Adium (I also hacked that in there) because I thought it fit better with my desktop, looks better than the duck, and my Powerbook's name is Yuki (which melds my interest of Japan of Snow/Winter into a simple, elegant name). And it just looks neat.

Though the idea for the weather notifier intrigues me and sounds interesting. However, I lack any coding skills whatsoever to put it together.

This is surely a mock up, photoshop..cue I ask the dev and they told me it's not possible ..(maybe yet)..

i hope im just missing something somewhere and you really can get it to go horizontal.. that would be fun for a while

im just playing with you guys
boring that you noticed it so fast, oh well..

but, that is a feature i would want in adium.
and even a vertical contactlist with the contacts in a group horizontal.
what do you guys think bout that?

iunno about vertical groups with horizontal contacts... that would take up a lot of screen space for me.

but i definitely like the horizontal groups
