The only thing I really hate about Adium is how anyone with access to my computer can easily read my transcripts.

Is there any chance you guys could add--at minimum--a password to view transcripts? Maybe some AES encryption on top of that?

I recommend FileVault.

Or use Fast User Switching and create a guest account for guests to use.
