I added some customized emoticons to my adium. But when I try to use them, my friend can see nothing. Is there anything I need to configure to enable this feature? According to the third comment of the following post, it seems that Adium is able to do that. THanks.

Adium cannot send custom emoticons.

That is quite bad... Will Adium add this feature in the future? Or is there some legal issue to do that?
