send message to offline client

since a few upgrades ago, i haven't seen the dialog about sending a message to an offline client, for any service. i poked around and found this: http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/9568 which i think is related but... is there a preference or something now? thank you...

The milestone on that ticket is 1.3, meaning the change will be seen in 1.3.
