I found these forums, and thought it would be the perfect place to ask my Adium questions. I searched the site and couldn't seem to find anything on this, so excuse me if its already been asked somewhere.

When I originally installed Adium it opened just a few seconds after double clicking the icon. In other words, it signed me on pretty instantaneously. Now, however, it takes forever to open (usually around a full minute). It still successfully signs me on, but I was wondering if anyone knew why it is taking so long all of a sudden?

Eaxact same issue here - on my G5, it takes 2 or 3 minutes to open. Seems much faster on my Intel machine at work. Is it chipset-related?
