Transparent message window borders

Post by Nappateemu »

I've been trying to tweak my Adium and it's starting to look good except for one thing.
I'd like to hide the borders and the scroll bar of the message window.
Below is a screenshot of how it looks now.

I'm using Adium X 1.2.5 on Mac OS X 10.4.11
If anyone knows how to do it, your help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Also if someone knew a way not to hide but to modify them I would like to know it. None of the message themes I've tried so far have done anything about the borders.

It's not possible to alter these aspects of the window.

Not even the scrollbar? I've seen themes without it.

Not that I know of. If you search the forum, there is quite an extensive discussion about this kind of thing.

Theoretically speaking, you could probably cheat and have the scrollbar off the right side of the window. I haven't tried it though.
