How to enable spell checking

if im not mistaken check spelling as you type comes already on inside adium? anyways if it doesnt

Spell Checking
First open a new conversation window then click on the "edit" menu then go to spelling and make sure theres a checkmark next to "Check Spelling as you type(if there isnt click on it). This will let adium display red dotted lines underneith words spelt wrong before you send them. To correct these spelling mistakes you can right click(or control click) the underligned word and chose the correct spelling from the menu that comes up. Another to get fix spelling mistakes, good for when you have alot, is click on the "Edit" menu then going to spelling and choosing spelling. Inside this screen you can add words to Adium's dictionary by clicking learn, skip over a spelling mistake by pressing ignore or chose a correct spelling by double clicking on the right word from the list.[/b]

My brother saw the red dotted lines but had no idea you could control-click to get spelling suggestions. Go figure... all documentation is good documentation
