Can't Connect

Hey, looking for a bit of help with Adium. I have a fairly new MacBook Pro, and have been running Adium with no problems. Last night, I was connected and able to use it for hours with no problems. Today, I cannot connect to any of my accounts, it just won't finalize the connection it seems. I updated to the newest version, no help there. At one point I got an error message which flashed for just a second of two before closing, saying something along the lines of "socket cannot connect." Any ideas on a fix would be appreciated!
