I'm just curious what the status of Myspace IM connectivity is in the latest beta...

I haven't been able to successfully login via Adium to myspace since the feature first showed up, I've checked the password time after time and its correct, but every time I try to connect I get the password dialog box, this has happened to me even on a fresh install when I got my new Mac Pro.

Any ideas out there?

Ditto. Never been able to successfully log into MySpace IM even though I have the correct login info.

Well, after "no help" I finally thought maybe it was because I didn't setup myspace IM from Windows seeing that thats what is only allowed officially right now, and I was able to login using the official client but still not with Adium, but then I had this light bulb moment, what if my password was the issue, so I changed it to something that met the minimum requirements (6 characters and 1 digit or symbol) and tried logging in, then it worked, so I tried to change my password back to what originally was and Myspace yelled at me saying my password could not be more than 10 characters long, so I fired up 1Password and had it generate me something random within the guidelines (6-10 characters with at least 1 number or symbol) and now magically Adium can log in.

So for the other poster, it seems Adium has a problem delivering passwords that are longer than myspace 10 character limit (my original password was 12 characters long) so change your password to 10 or under and see if that works.
