How do I get help when I need it, regarding adium.

One way to get help in adium is to visit the Adium forums which are located at foums.adiumx.com


Another is to visit the adium room on IRC which is #adium on irc.freenode.net. To sign onto irc you will need an irc client. There are many different option for this. one is colloquy available at http://colloquy.info/.

if you cannot find the information your require in adium's help wiki, the best place to get additional help is the adium x forums, it's very likely that someone has already experienced the same problem you have so the best action to take is to do a search for relevant keywords related to your problem, and you will probably find just the thread with a handy detailed answer to your problem.

If you find a relevant thread which does not quite solve your problem then post a reply in that thread detailing your specific problem.

If in the unlikely event that your problem has not already been addressed in the forums, then you can make a new thread with a brief description of your problem for the subject, followed by a more detailed description in the message body. Bugs should be posted in the Adium Bugs forum, and general usage questions in the Adium General & Requests forum.

A member of Adium's thriving community will usually reply that day (possibly even that minute!).
