auto send sms or email msg when im is left unaswered

I need to be available by im all the time for my job. how can I set up adium to email me a message when it is unaswered for 5 minutes? this way I do not have to remember to sign into mobile im when I am on road.

I'm guessing you're not using AIM, which can forward to mobile when you sign offline.

You could forward *all* incoming messages to SMS (via AIM), but you'd need to use AppleScript to truly detect if the system is idle, or when there's still unread messages.
