Last night (using b6) I experienced an adium bug that I have seen a number of times but forgotten to report.

My friend, who was sat next to me, IMed me a link over Rendezvous. I simply did not receive the message. However, all subsequent messages were received correctly. In this particular case he was running iChat however I have seen the same behaviour (first message gets lost all subsequent messages are fine) when sending to people using Adium over rendezvous.

implies that I might not be the only one exeriencing this problem. I'd have followed up there but I figured here is more appropriate since I'm using the beta. (Also, I'm not sure what those mDNSResponder messages mean, but I do see them in my system.log)

I did see:
- Improved Rendezvous responsiveness
in the new beta changelog, but when I tried to test with b7 this morning, Adium died on me.

Has anyone else lost Rendezvous messages? Is it a known issue?

Rendezvous messages which include line breaks currently get lost... perhaps he had a line break in his message?

Died as in the flaming duck of death. We both sent in crash reports.

Neither message contained newlines.

*sigh* And if one of the mods wants to move this to the beta forum, which was where I meant to post this...

What's your email on the crash reports (PM it to me if you prefer)?
