block invisible/appear offline users

I assume there is no easy way but you never know till you ask. is there a way to block users who are set as invisible from seeing if you are online? As in you only appear on their contact list if they are actually online and not set as invisible/appear offline? Not being a techie I have no clue if that is even possible to code but from a privacy standpoint it would be a nice feature to have.
