Group Message?

I am aware of the method to develop a Group Chat (so don't slap me too hard). I have a need to send a message to multiple persons at the same time. For instance, we had a lightning storm today and I needed to remind everyone to save their work or risk a power outage. Asking them to join a chat room is onerous.

Is there a simple way to send multiple people the same message at the same time??

A) I'd get them all a desktop ups. You can pick one up retail from best buy for about 30 bucks, it's worth the investment.

real answer: There's an applescript on the xtras site to do the messaging thing

- Send a message to all of your contacts: Globalcast (Offline)
