Hi all,

I have a couple of questions regarding combining contacts.

Firstly, is it possible to un-combine contacts? I am using the latest beta (1.3b10). I thought it used to be possible in the contact's info dialog, but was not able to find a way.

Secondly, is it possible to hide the contact's dropdown list of combined accounts; that's shown in the chat window? Please see the attached screenshot.

1. Yes, right-click -> expand combined contact, then just drag out contacts.
2. That dropdown should disappear once you have sent your first message.

Please post about issues concerning the beta of Adium in the beta forum next time. I'll move this thread there now.

This may be an ancient post, but this 'feature' has suddenly enabled itself in v1.5b8 and I can't figure out how to disable it. I can expand the contacts in the Contact List, but I can't CMD+drag a contact out of it — the contact always returns to its combined position. Can anyone elaborate on the process..?

Which services does that involve?
