Black circle of infinity.

first off, let me say how much i love adium. i found a link to adium through the macrumors forums. someone said, "click the link, download and enjoy." and i did.

but now, i have a problem. it worked fine when i downloaded it, and worked fine until i came home from vacation. it worked while i was on vacation, but now it doesn't. when i try and connect, in the dock, right by the adium icon, i get a black circle that just spins and spins and spins. it won't connect or anything. i've tried all that i know how to do. is there anything that i can do to fix this?

I've been searching this forum for an hour now. . i've read the FAQ, and tried everything that it suggested, but no avail.

if this has been a problem in times past, please go ahead and lock this topic and point me in the right direction. . . thanks!

hmmm...ok well thats a bit to vague to give you an answer, if you can go to prefrences and look at your account as its "signing in" and see what percentage it gets to, also maybe try logging in through html by double clicking your account and going to the options tab then clicking the "sign in using html" button. hopefully that should work... but if not moniter the account as it logs in and see what percentage it gets to then tell us and maybe someone else can help you
