This is going to sound odd, but this bug seems entirely unreproducible to me...
It has now happened 3 times over the past 7 months or so (I have only been using adium for about 10...), each with a different version, (currently using 1.3b11), so I have no idea what the problem is, but it has persisted so far.

The topic pretty much describes the entire bug. I wake my laptop up, and adium says it has connected, but no matter how many times I hit Apple-/ it never actually shows up (or using the menu item). Restart of adium fixes it.

so, er, ya, thats all the information I have, if it happens again I will try to remember to get a log of it, but as of when I thought to get a log this time, I had already restarted and it had either cleared its logs or exceeded what it remembers without writing to the HD

I am having this issue with my chat windows. They will show up when someone sends a message. After I reply they are gone like poof in the night, and I can not get any chat windows to appear again until I restart.

If you come across any solutions please pass them along. I will do the same. It makes Adium useless unfortunately.
