Can I hide counts on collapsed groups? [1.3]
Can I hide counts on collapsed groups? [1.3]
This is a new feature in 1.3, as far as I can tell: when contact groups are collapsed, they show the number of people online in those groups. Is it possible to hide that number? See the screenshot: where it says "- 24" I want just "-", and for "WIN 12" it should just say "WIN", as it used to do in the previous version. I haven't found anything to make it so in menus or preferences.

I can find any options for this either. It sure is ugly to see that number there.

Re: Can I hide counts on collapsed groups? [1.3]
There is a "hidden preference" for hiding the contact counts on collapsed groups. The Adium Wiki has a page explaining all the hidden preferences. Not surprisingly, that page itself is a bit hidden. But I have excerpted the relevant section below. Hope this helps!
To disable the online contact count when a group is collapsed, run the following command in Terminal:
To enable it again, use:Code: Select all
defaults write com.adiumx.adiumx AIHideCollapsedGroupCount -bool YES
Code: Select all
defaults write com.adiumx.adiumx AIHideCollapsedGroupCount -bool NO
