No status/contact list in 1.3.1

Hi there, I've just installed the 1.3.1 update and sadly it has not restored my status/contact list, which disappeared before the update (when I was using 1.3). It will show up if I select "show all contacts" in the view menu, but I only want to see the online contacts. If I choose show all, everyone is greyed out, including me. In prefs, I have window handling set never to hide the contact list.

Sometimes I notice a tiny sliver of white on the northwest edge of my screen, which is where my status window is supposed to live. (See the attached screenshot.)

I think this has only started happening in the last week or so, and I'm not sure what prompted it. I've not updated any other software in that time.

Suggestions, fixes welcome. Should I file a bug report?

alot of people are having the same trouble, i have just put 1.2 back and ran that since 1.3 came out, as it seems to be a bug that alot of people are having

Sorry to hear it's so widespread! How do I download 1.2? I looked around on the Adium website but didn't see it anywhere.

In the download, replace the "1.3" by "1.2.7" and you get http://adiumx.cachefly.net/Adium_1.2.7.dmg.
I'm certain this will be fixed for 1.3.2.

the problem for me is very very stange

as first time i downloaded it the contact list never appeard but ive still got 1.3 on my harddrive and i boot it up now and again, and it sometimes works for like 20 minutes and disconncets and then all the list is off line when i get back on, happens to me a few times, just strange

I reinstalled v1.2 and was still have some odd problems -- all my contact lists were showing blocked, I was not showing up online for my contacts although Adium said I was online, and one or two other oddities. I fiddled and fiddled, and then finally repaired the permissions on my Mac (MacBookPro intel, OS10.5) and now things are working normally again. However, I have not gone back to v1.3 and will wait for the next update. Thanks for your help.
