Chat logs not showing up in Spotlight

I am running Adium 1.3.1 and it seems the adium chat logs are no longer being picked up by spotlight.
Where are these files actually located?

Library/Application Support/Adium/Users/Default/Logs/etc.

Is there a workaround for Spotlight to search these files?

I don't know if there is a real workaround, I found it by in Finder/spotlight looking for a special word that I remenbered from a chat this morning.
The name of that contact came up, click it and at the bottom of Finder you see the way to the chatlogs.
