I get that message in chinese saying something along the lines of my version not being new enough. Is there any way to get around this currently other than using the real version of QQ? I really like being able to put all my programs into adium!

I think people associated with Pidgin are working on improving QQ support. These improvements will find their way into Adium once they're done.
