Cant log into my account, with 1.3.2

I have a big issue. Adium 1.3.1 works just fine, but the new 1.3.2 does not. I get this error while trying to log into my account:

Error: Windows Live ID authentication:Invalid response

I have the correct passoword!
My other msn account works just fine. But not the other one.

Ant idears?

Had to revert to 1.3.1 again.

i also have the same problem. their is an open ticket about this problem already some one suggested using the beta 1.3.2.b2 but that did not solve the problem. the only solution for me was to revert back to 1.3.1

i also tried deleting the preferences files and starting fresh but that did not help.

The stuff about 1.3.2b2 wasn't a fix. There is a proper debug build of 1.3.2 now so get that one and generate a debug log if you wanna help fix this problem.

its working for me now

i fixed it by going to http://www.msn.com and signing in on their homepage after putting in my email and password it asked me to confirm something by clicking ok. once i did that adium signed in and everything worked fine. for some reason it would sign in with the previous version of adium but the new version would not until i confirmed whatever it was they wanted from me on the account.

i hope this helps anyone else who is also experiencing this problem

anyone know how to revert? i can't do anything with 1.3.2, even log in. the msn option doesn't work either. :/

I'm having the same problem since upgrading to 1.3.2.
Logging in to http://www.msn.com doesn't fix it.

Bump.. looks like I'm not the only one with this problem.

I read in another thread something about not having a "...@hotmail.com" MSN ID what difference would that make?

xanster & snott: Do you get exactly the same error mlek?

If the answer is no and you want help then you need to paste the debug log because otherwise it's more or less impossible to help you.

The error is the same: "Windows Live ID authentication:Invalid response" in the Accounts tab, so I assume its the same problem. I'll install the debug build anyway to verify.

Here's the debug output. My other accounts (AOL, Gmail, ICQ) all work fine and MSN worked fine until I downloaded 1.3.2.

Halo there, good day all mate,
hope you all can help me with my adium 1.3.2 also, last few day i still can logging into msn using adium but today suddenly it cannot,at the account table,it just stuck at connecting (retrieving buddy list 100%), how ever the contact list never show out and obviously i was still in connecting sequence,i try to let it connect there for half hour and when i come back it was still in the same state.Anyone know what happen? but last two day i think it crash thrice suddenly close and a pop up as me to relaunch it. THanks to all Please help!
