Request: client-side "online since" for Gtalk contacts

Since Google Talk doesn't have server-side "online since" timestamps as AIM does, could we have a client-side "online since" that tracks when Adium saw them appear on the buddy list? The functionality seems to be halfway there already - if you look under "offline" contacts, you can see "last seen" since their signoff.
