No mobile contacts for msn

I've searched for this topic and really haven't come up with any answers.

I cannot see when anyone on my contact list is on their mobile. When I check under View > show mobile contacts, I still get nothing.
Tried amsn and can see that I have a whole bunch of contacts that are on their mobile and I can msg... unfortunately I prefer adium to amsn and can't seem to get my mobile contacts working with adium.
I have the newest adium and all the updates, double checked that.

If anyone could help that would be so great.

I can't see them at all.
When I do the Show Mobile Contacts nothing happens.

That's not good, I haven't heard of this problem before.

I have had this same problem since Oct 2007 when I first bought my iMac.
I posted on here for help but as soon as anyone asked me to make sure I had 'Show mobile contacts' selected and I replied that I did and advised them of the steps I had taken to fix it, re-install, trash prefs, etc, no one ever replied after that.

Does MSN even have mobile contacts? I thought it was just cell phone forwarding. Maybe none of your contacts have it configured.

Users that are offline but have a phone number added will show up as mobile contacts. Users that are using msn on a mobile phone is indicated by an emblem in libpurple which Adium doesn't show atm but they should still look like they are online etc and send messages should work.

Many have tried to check on to their contact list, but it is still invisible for those users. Maybe there are no such mobile contacts that are being specified in MSN that's why nothings happen when you are about to view it. However, those contacts of the users on the mobile phone were actually not being seen because they are offline but still have the list and can send or receive messages as they are online.
