I managed to separate a contact with multiple emails and try as I might to consolidate, it's just not happening. It will let me combine the different usernames for this contact, but still insists on listing the emails separately. It looks like this:
John Doe
johndoe@anywhere.com
johndoe@thisnet.net
JohnQDoe@mysite.com

Can anyone shed some light onto these errors for me? I'd be grateful.

I don't quite understand. Could you re-phrase that in other words and perhaps provide a screenshot?
