This may not necessarily be an Adium question - but I used Adium X for all my IM names in OS X.

However, I am constantly getting spam IMs on my MSN and Yahoo IM accounts. Is there a privacy setting I'm missing?

The ideal setting would be to only accept messages from people on my friend list - however I don't know much about how MSN and Yahoo IM work, privacy-wise.

Adium Menu -> Privacy Options...

Holy crap that was ridiculously easy. I can't count how many times I went into Preferences right above it expecting it to be in there

People that still are in your allow list can spam you.
