auto open on profile viewing

this is a feature of amsn, if someones opens a conversation with me, even without sending me a message or typing one, a conversation window will pop up on my computer. Does that make sense?

Are you planning to implement this in Adium??

it is a great feature and I don't think it would be that difficult compared to the work already done on the program...

I think it makes more sense that you are saying. With that feature, you will realize that some people check your profile 3 times a day, you will see when people have something to tell you, but hesitate and then close the window, ect... In fact it s a good way to spy your buddies 8)

And you could make something to disable this feature for example in the settings, or instead of opening a conversation window, just open a little popup for a few seconds, there is an add-on for msn pc that has this feature as well.

Am I asking too much?

I think this is only in the MSN protocol…

So it'll be useless for all the AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, etc. users.
