Message Box Doesn't Go Over Spaces

I have been wondering how to get my message chat box over other windows, such as a web browser. I have looked at Adium's official site under the FAQ as well as trying to figure it out myself but I can't get it to work. I would really appreciate someone's help.

I've never used it myself but this program claims to be able to accomplish what you want:

In Adium-Preferences:
choose the one at the right, Expert or something like that,
then in the left tab choose the 2nd one, messages I think,
then at the bottom you can set how the messagewindow appears, standard is normal, but there is also a "on top of other windows".
Does that help?
I use the Dutch version of Adium, sorry if I translated somthing wrong.
