I realise this isn't adium's problem, but it seems that Facebook now only allows a single login at any one time for a user.

This means that if you have adium running with the Facebook account, the problem is exhibited by facebook requesting your password frequently when accessing it in your browser.

My guess is that Adium connects, Facebook disconnects your web connection, you type in your password on the web page, and then soon after adium reconnects with the stored password, disconnecting your web session again.

Can anyone confirm if that's the case and if this is a change in behaviour for Facebook?

After finding someone else had posted about the same issue, I followed a link on that thread and found a solution - reinstall Safari 3.2.1. That seems to have fixed it.
