what does minus sign in red status icon mean?

(i can't find this answer anywhere). A couple of my contacts sometimes appear with minus signs in their status icons (only Yahoo contacts, and only when red, it looks like). What does that mean?

I think that red with minus means busy and red is away. I was also a bit confused by that. Ah and yellow is idle.
