How often do you have the problem of needing to repeat messages in IM? This can happen when you or the person you're chatting with has a flaky internet connection, gets disconnected, has a system crash, switches to a VPN, has two chat clients open, etc, etc.

Those are all cases where you might have some warning that a message may have been missed. I'm also interested to hear if it ever happens *without* warning that a message doesn't come through.

Happens all the time. Every few minutes, sometimes. Stupid comcast.

This isn't directly related, but it's very frustrating when I'm told a message hasn't been delivered or, worse,*might* not have been delivered, without telling me exactly which message it is if I've sent several.
