email notifications

Im using Adium 1.3.2 and Growl 1.1.4 on OSX 10.5.5. How can i get notifications when receiving emails in either my yahoo or hotmail accounts?

Hi,
go to your Adium preferences and in the Even section there is a list of events. Choose "New Mail" event and there you can add an action that will be triggered. Add Grow and/or sound ... as you wish.

thats strange cause "New Email notification" was already activated with a "sticky Growl notification" and nothing occured!

Adium / Preferences / Accounts

Select the account you wish to get new email notifications for;

Edit / Options
Select "Check for new mail".
