Hi,
It seems to me Adium is lacking in message sending options.

When I'm writing messages, sometimes I want to go one line down - this is usually done with the Enter key. I don't see an option to do so in Adium. Maybe it's because I'm using a Mac only two days...

This is how I'd prefer it to be:
Enter - go one line down
cmd + s - send message

If made possible, I'd be quite thankful.

and of course right after sending this message, I got Adium to go one line down by using the Enter key, but am still missing cmd+s for sending...

and of course I now found out you can send a message using cmd+enter, but I still feel cmd+s would be better [for me] if possible...

Had you checked Adium's Preferences?
These settings are in the "General" section: "Send messages with:".

I think using "Return" (the big key) for sending and "Enter" (the key in the numeric pad) works pretty nicely.

I'm using a Macbook so all keys are small.
A more customizable approch to keyboard shortcuts would be great....
