It's probably just something temporary so you just have to wait.

Actually, I think that it's not an local problem of your Adium, and it's not depends of version of installed software. I have two mac's at the same local network on macbook it works at the iMac - NO. But as you know all messengers working now except qip. One of my ICQ# previously works via qip, other - never. I think that user information about messenger stored at the mirabilis servers and if user ones has loged in via qip or previously works via qip - then is loging is rejectied and he receive only service information.

Maybe it's hepl somehow
Please comment if you previously works via qip and you can't login via adium, or everything is ok?

I think that mirabilis have stopped support for other clients than ICQ - this information can be found on their website - located in huge banner.
And the error message - which comes from UIN number "1" - ICQ support also telling that.

Maybe new version must create quickly for support new requirements of AOL?!

My Adium is working also, but it cannot connect to ICQ.

promblem is not about adium,but about icq using adium.is there anybody who knws if this will be reslove?using other chat system is boring...

No problem here in Holland with Adium/ICQ.

"What happened (shortly): AOL banned all unofficial ICQ clients. This ban applies only to former USSR IP space. Client ID modification doesn't work. Looks like they determining client by capabilities + initial handshake. For now the only solution for all ICQ users who have such issues is to use proxy.

I think that it's not about xUSSR or IP, I have no problems with ICQ at Adium (Ukraine, Kiev), but at the same homenet other Mac has problems with ICQ at Adium.

BTW Proteus also not working with ICQ, # that was just created few month ago and was not connected via QIP or Miranda.

My Adium is not working anymore now.

BUT!
I have logged in via ICQ2GO , at the ICQ website and send few messages. After this a have quit from ICQ website and try to loggin via Adium - EVERYTHING IS WORKS! At the second Mac that was not working from start of the day everything is working now.

Any thoughts?
